SKC base funding of 2021
On December 4th, SKC called for applications to receive base funding from SKC’s budget of year 2021. Chalmers University of Technology, Royal Institute of Technology and Uppsala University handed in their applications by the announced deadline. SKC has reviewed applications and decided to distribute the budget for base funding, 4 MSEK for year 2021, equally between the applicants. This means that the base funding allocation is identical to that of year 2020.
According to the principles agreed upon for SKC’s contracting period 2020-2023, base funding is primarily intended to be utilized for maintaining and developing nuclear education options at Swedish universities and for retaining and attracting lecturers and researchers in their roles as teachers or supervisors.
A call for applying for base funding from the budget of 2022 will be announced in June 2021, with a preliminary submissions deadline of September 10th 2021.
